I'm more interested in Asatru because it resonates with my identity as a Northern European man than because of a specific philosophy that it comprises. We believe in direct revelation from God to man. I have personally found many answers to my prayers through spiritual revelation and would suggest saying a prayer to see if you should search it out. To be honest, the prospect is a little frightening because I don't know what I'll find. I'll try giving it a try this weekend though and let you know how it goes. Torilink - I haven't read the book you mentioned, but will look it up on Amazon. I've considered looking into a Unity church but have not yet done so. My experience has been that there are entities -- spirit guides, gods, angels, archetypes in the subconscious, call them what you want -- who are eager to help you set up the direct connection to Spirit that you're looking for.
